Bayanihan is derived from the root word “Bayani” first
appeared in 1745 in a manuscript titled “ Vocabulario
de la Lenguana Tagala” by P. Juan de Noceda and
P. Pedro de Sanlucar which means Obra Camun or
Group Work.

shared inner person, feeling for another being
aware, sensitive and attentive to the “subte
cues” and non-verbal behaviors” of the other
person.”
