Part 3 - The Sun-Moon-Earth System
1. Choose one aspect of the Sun-Moon-Earth system to focus on (5-6 people per topic)
● Tides on Earth
● Solar and lunar eclipses
● Seasons on Earth (including precession)
● Albedo of the Earth and moon
2. Research this phenomenon as a group, partners, or individually. Each student will create
a ½ page written report on their topic.
● Paragraphs or bullet point forms are fine.
● Feel free to use images/diagrams as well.
3. We will then get into groups where each person will teach the rest of the group about
their chosen topic. Each person will have five (5) minutes to present their findings.
4. Hand in written report and images.
