The Research is in
• Training magazine's research shows that only half
of Millennial workers believe their teams perform at
their best at least half of the time. L&D
professionals have noticed that there is a gap
between actual and expected team
performance. They are beginning to understand
why this is so and how they can fix it. The trend
towards team-based projects is not going away, so
it's up to training professionals to find ways to
improve performance. There is a strong correlation
between team performance and training received.

Motivating Skills
Motivation for your Team.
• Low motivation or lack of ability?
• Do you find that certain members of your team are
performing less than you would like? This proverb
could be of great importance if so. You must find
the root cause of the performance problem to fix it.
• We tend to seek quick fixes because employee
performance is a major factor in organizational
performance.
• A person with 75 percent performance ability and
100 percent motivation can often perform aboveaverage. A worker with 25 percent motivation won't
achieve the performance you want, no matter what
level.

Developing your team
• How is your team performing already?
• No matter if you are a new leader or an
experienced manager, developing your team is an
essential part of your job. It doesn't just apply to
new hires. To develop and maintain their skills,
people need support in all aspects of their career,
as individuals or as a team.
• Your team is incredible. Your team works at the
highest efficiency and responds quickly to any
situation. Your team members can step in quickly
and deftly to fill in for each other's roles when
additional effort is needed.
• This is not a complete description of your team at
the moment, but you can be encouraged to realize
that it might be in the future.

Training Options
• You may be a recruiter, trainer, or team leader if
you work for a small to medium-sized
company. These resources can help you perform at
your best in each of the roles. You may find that
your organization has a Human Resources or
Learning and Development department. This will
provide opportunities for you and your team to
grow.
• Our educational offerings can be delivered online
or in person. Often, they are organized in one of
two learning styles. Even though topics and times
may vary between offerings, all courses and
workshops are taught by experts in the field and
interprofessional faculty.
• All employees must perform at their best to keep a
business competitive. Management often turns to
the training department to improve employee
performance and fix problems when things aren’t
going as planned.

Why choose a workshop?
Reasons for a short training session
Team Performance Training Workshops and series are
shorter engagements that focus on a particular
topic. Expert faculty lead workshops that provide live
instruction and hands-on experience in specific areas or
topics. The workshop is followed by peer-to–peer learning
and discussion.
