My 5 key learnings from these 7 videos:
1. SEO or search engine optimization refers search engine page which is strictly unpaid.
SEM or search engine marketing is a very handy tool to master. SEM combines the
unpaid tools like SEO with paid tools like pay-per-click or PPC. SEM is a combination of
SEO and PPC which is pay per click. We can use SME to enrich our search about
specific subjects which will provide lots of information in Bangladesh.
2. There is a lot more to digital than just marketing or social media. A marketer has to be
more subtle clever and creative in all the marketing expertise that he needs to deliver.
Social media marketing is a part of digital marketing and digital marketing expertise
encompasses the online and offline marketing both. We should apply all the divisions of
digital marketing in the businesses of Bangladesh to prosper.
3. Purchase funnel is tracking different kinds of online behavior. Data analytics is collecting
interpreting and communication of meaningful patterns to get driven more towards
action, which are technical and analytical. To operate it successfully we should have a
clear idea of the kind of data we want to search and what to measure based on that data.
We should also focus more on inside data and quality of it. Single consumer view is a
snapshot of one single consumer y collecting, interpreting and presenting all the data of
the customers. Google Analytics is a tool which basically tracks, processes data and
publishes reports based on those data and also helps tracking campaigns we are doing
whether they are right or wrong. It tracks online behavior with different business
objectives and helps making a very useful decision in terms of reaching users. We should
have clear business objectives and go to Google Analytics to set up different goals based
on those objectives which are basically four in number including destination, duration,
pages and events. Google analytics should be used in different scientific and medical
organizations in Bangladesh to track easily the needs of consumers in terms of utility and
usefulness.
4. Digital marketing is a way of creating value of doing business and creating exciting
business models. Traditional business models are shifting towards the multi-channelbased business models where organizations have more control over consumers and
products and it will be done using artificial intelligence. Digital marketing also helps
engaging consumers to make the brand promise come to life and it is a way people brand
an organization. Lateral thinking will be more important than liner thinking in future. Eco
system means a company has complete control over its value chain. And there is two-way
involvement. These are the concepts which will be used in the entire business system of
Bangladesh. Ultimately these will be established in future to operate business and replace
traditional marketing and business systems. Digital system is basically used in all sectors
of all kinds of businesses of Bangladesh.
5. Content creation strategy has four parts, which are- focusing on fundamentals that means
who is my target audience, what am I trying to achieve and what are my content creation
succession one after another into the long term. There are 3 types of contents, which arehero content which creates awareness, hub content which turns typical user into
consumer purchaser and hygiene content which is keeping engaged the existing
consumers for long term. Viral content also needs long term planning, exceed consumer
expectation and connects on an emotional level. Bangladesh is becoming active in
creating viral contents considering different social issues lately and creating buzz in
different socio economic speres.
