The community in the giver is good,
because it is peaceful. That is, there is no
crime, no war, no fighting, and no
breaking rules, also they are forgiveness.
For Example, Jonas, Fiona, and Ashur are
respectful and Jonas is shocked when he
sees war in his dream. Furthermore, in the
graduation the chief Elder said “I
apologies” and everyone said “we accept
your apology”. Clearly, the community in
the giver is good, because it is peaceful.
The community in the giver is bad,
because it is loveless. That is, there is no
family love, no romantic love, and there is
no emotion. For Example, Jonas can’t
even touch Fiona. Also, they have family,
but burt they can’t say love you to them.
Furthermore, after good dream to Jonas,
he asked the giver “what is it” and the
giver said “it is called love”. Thus, the
community is bad because it is bad.
The community in the giver is bad,
because it is controlled. That is, the
government controlled everything and
there is many rules. This is shown, they
controlled feeling, weather, and even job
for the future.as well, when Fiona is about

people have the freedom to choose, they
choose wrong, every single time”.
Therefore, the community in the giver is
bad because it is controlled.
