Product Overview
The KAC Class 9000 range of devices provides you with the most comprehensive range of
switching product solutions for fire, security and other specialist applications.
All products comprise a main housing and escutcheon plate. The switching device is fitted to
the plate, which simply snaps into the main housing and is permanently located into place by
fixing screws.
As with our market leading range of call points, all switching devices can be supplied in
our core colours of red, green, white, yellow and blue. There are also numerous function
marking options available to meet your specific requirements.
The miniature push switch family can be supplied with the following options: Momentary Action – contacts transferring only while the button is depressed.
Latching – a push/push action; the contacts transfer when the button is pressed and stay
transferred until the button is pressed again.
Terminated – 120mm long 16/0.2mm2 cable is soldered to the six terminals of the switching
device. Shrouded 100mm 1 amp 32/0.2mm2 cable is soldered to the 3 terminals.
Non-terminated – no cables are connected to the switching device.
From these options four principle versions can be supplied: •

A shrouded push button switch product is also available providing single pole changeover
switching with a momentary action.

All 9100 type call points are supplied with lengths
of 120mm x 32/0.2mm cable soldered to each switch
terminal. It is intended that the installer fits a suitable
terminal block to these cables.
Contact arrangement 9101 and 9102 types:
One pair of contacts normally open, one pair of contacts
normally closed . Operation of switch transfers contacts.

Both pairs of contacts open in centre
