Much of this module will be revision. Emphasis must be on mastering basic verbs
and tenses whilst pushing the more able to master more complex language and
manipulating the verbs and tenses with accuracy. Speaking test practice to be
done using the Sanako recording system which will collect and save the audio
files for marking by the teacher. The written practice should be completed
under test conditions in class but prepared for HW.
Listening and Reading Assessments for module 1 can be used.

Pupils will be able to speak and write with increasing confidence and accuracy
about themselves. They will have revised basic verbs and tenses.

Learning Outcomes;
Pupils will be able to speak and write with increasing confidence and accuracy
about KES and schools in the UK and France. They will be revising key verbs and
tenses in readiness for the summer examinations. There will be a reading and
listening examination and the written and speaking controlled assessments will
be counted as part of the final examination grade. They will tackle new topics at
the end of term on human rights, religion and poverty in the Third World.
