words – you must register for an account
• To create and save word lists:
o Log into your account
o Select LIST MANAGEMENT
o Select CREATE A NEW LIST
o Enter your new list
o Select SAVE to continue
o Choose/create sentences and/or definitions
 Only the default sentences are spoken in a
human voice. Custom sentences are
spoken in a computerized voice.
• You can import lists by using the FIND A LIST option,
then click IMPORT. Once imported, you can edit the
list without affecting the original.
• On the List Management page, you can decide which
specific saved lists you want to be visible to
students for practice.
• The MY HOMEPAGE option is what your students will
see.
• Click on a specific list to see available options for
practice.
o SPELLING TEST: students have the option to
hear the word alone and/or in a sentence. Upon
completion, students click CHECK ME to see
their immediate results. They can type their
name and print a report.
o TEACH ME: The list becomes an interactive
learning tool where students click words to:
listen to the word, hear it spelled, and hear it in
a sentence.
o PLAY A GAME: students have access to
multiple free learning games, including language
arts concepts.
o FLASH CARDS: interactive, digital flash cards to
provide definitions, pronunciations and spelling
o VOCAB TEST: (premium members only) students
match words to definition and can print
results
