Story Retelling Glove




Use a gardening glove and write the words above on each finger in permanent marker
After students read, take turns letting students put on the glove and give one or all of the details using
fingers of the glove as prompts
Teacher can ask
–“Give me one”
–“Give me five”
–“Give me thumb, pinky, pointer finger, etc.”
Students can wear glove in small groups to help guide book discussions
