Andrew Jackson Social Media Pages
Your job is to create an Instagram and twitter “account” for the era of the common man we
discussed in class. You must choose Andrew Jackson and at least two other people we
discussed in class. Research each person to determine what each might put on their social
media pages. Some ideas are to use quotes, inspirational pictures and other fun stuff, or
not so fun, they would like to post online. Be sure to make the posts related to information
that we learned in class. You may do this assignment in word, powerpoint, or any other
creative way you can come up with!!
The project must include:
1. Interesting/fun account names for each person and each account (Twitter and
Instagram)
2. Minimum of 3 Instagram pics with captions, and comments for Jackson and 2 for
EACH of the other two people
3. Minimum of 3 twitter posts for EACH of the people as well. (think about quotes from
each or about what they would be doing in life that would warrant a twitter post)
4. You must also create a fake text conversation between Jackson and one other
complete with historical references.
5. Designed with templates from Instagram and twitter (Google Search or See below)
6. Creativity and hard work are a must!!!
