Me, the Teacher
I have been teaching for 9 years. I taught 2 nd
grade in Charlotte for 6 years and 3 rd grade for 3
years. I taught 3rd grade at TES last year.
I have been teaching since before you were born!

This Year is Going to Rock!
Classroom Community
To help our class run smoothly, each week some
students will have classroom jobs.
We will take turns.
Teacher’s Assistant (1):
Job Description:
*Take messages to the office.
*Helps check homework.
*Passes out sanitizer before lunch.
Clean-Up Crew (2):
Job Description:
*Make sure floors are kept clean. Sweep
occasionally.
*Put trash cans outside the door at the end of
the day.
Paper Patrol (2):
Job Description:
*Collect papers, straighten them out, and put
them in the completed bin.
Lunch League (2):
Job Description:
*Wash the tables
*Stack trays and bring them to the window.
*Sweep the floor (if needed)
Energy Saver (1):
Job Description:
*Turn the lights out as we leave the classroom.
*Close blinds when we watch something on
the projector.
*Make sure all ipads and laptops are shut
down and put away each afternoon.
Materials Masters (2)
Job Description:
*Pass out and collect materials.
*Make sure classmates put materials away
neatly and in the proper place.
*Check writing table to make sure materials
and neat and organized.

Behavior Chart System
*Everyone starts on “Ready to Learn”
*If you exceed expectations you can
“clip up”..if you clip all the way up the
chart, you clip onto me. You can clip up
as many times as you are outstanding!
You earn green
tornadoes each
time you clip up
and write your
name on the
back to be in
the VIP (very
important
pupil) weekly
drawing!
Green Tornadoes!!
Good Choices= 1 tornado
Great Choices= 2 tornadoes
Outstanding= 3 tornadoes
Off the Chart= 4+ tornadoes
*Each morning you will get your green tornadoes and add
them to the drawing. Don’t forget to put your clip back on
“Ready to Learn” to start your day.
What can you do with tornadoes?
You will put your name on the back of all of your
tornadoes and place them in a jar throughout the
week. Every Friday I will choose 5 tornadoes and
those 5 people will be the V.I.P (very important
pupil) for the following week.
V.I.P.s will be the first to line up, get free ipad time,
and get to carry the Brag Flag.
