We are Learning:
Math: We will continue to work on Geometry,
Fractions, Problem Solving, and
adding/subtracting three digit numbers.
Language Arts: We will work on
comprehension and inferring skills. We will
also work on writing letters, writing Poetry,
and writing narratives.
Social Studies: We will finish our
researching skills this week about our
Historical Figures.
Science: We will continue to discuss cycles
in nature.

THIS WEEK’S HOMEWORK:
Monday: Add these numbers using Expanded
Notation like we have done in class: 534+121,
612+325, 725+231, 283+315. Now use one of these
number sentences to make your own word problem
and solve with a UPS check.
Read a book or a chapter from a book for 20 minutes.
Tuesday: Make 3 different flow maps showing how
man made products can be made from natural
resources such as trees, the soil, plants, animals, and
water. For example: plant the seed in the soil, then
wheat will grow, then we make bread at the factory
(it shows how we make man made products from a
natural resource)
Read a book or a chapter from a book for 20 minutes.
Wednesday: Use this equation to create a word
problem and solve it in a UPS check way. 852+216 =
