Presented by:

Do people think your school is
creative?
• Teachers – 55% think it’s creative eg
when children give their own ideas. Some
teachers think allowing creativity causes
chaos and bad behaviour.
• Students – 68% think it’s creative eg
there’s enough space for everyone to
create big projects; teachers allow children
to design things. Other students think
there is not enough fun in lessons.

Differences between teachers &
Students’ views
• All teachers think that visits and visitors
will make children learn better and would
like this to happen to make things more
creative.
• BUT
• Students would like more trips, learning
outside the classroom and more
interesting and creative lessons!
Implications of the research
• Why do you think there is a difference
between students and teachers here?
