Northwest Vista College Progress Report
Deadlines: 2016-2017: Fall November 4th /Spring April 20th /Summer June 30th
In order to be eligible for registration for the next semester you must have a progress report on file by the deadline listed above.
Without an updated progress report on file by this deadline, you MUST wait until final grades are posted to register for the next
semester. Registration holds will NOT be waived without a progress report on file. Midterm Grades from ACES/ Canvas will not be
accepted in place of the progress report. No progress reports submitted after the deadline will be reviewed.
Instructions: Please have All of your instructors complete this form. You can use one form for all classes. If your classes are online
you may attach a copy of the email from each instructor indicating the required information to this form when submitting to your
advisor. Once you have obtained information from all classes you are currently registered for, forms will need to be submitted to
your assigned academic advisor during your mandatory advising session each semester. It is recommended you submit your
progress report before registration for the next semester begins.

Processing Time: Your advisor will review your progress report and ensure all required information is completed. If so, your
registration hold will be waived to allow you to register for the next semester. If not, your information will be reviewed by the
Academic Standards team and you will receive an email through ACES with updated information within 48 business hours.
If not turned in by the deadline you will need to visit with an academic advisor once final grades have posted for a review of your
grades.
IMPORTANT: If your semester GPA is below 2.0 when final grades post you WILL be dropped from any future classes you have
registered for, and may be placed on Academic Dismissal.
