concept or idea. Can help to
enhance learning through humor.

Locate an appropriate cartoon that
illustrates your idea or concept.

 Abide by copyright laws
 Avoid overuse
 Make connection between the cartoon and the
concept explicit - do not assume they
understand
 Involve the students. If possible, cover the
caption and have the students describe the
picture.
