Introduction to Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
Send me e-mail message with the following items.
1. The URL that will bring up a copy of your resume. You can set a link from your
homepage or simply put a web page in your WWW directory.
2. An attachment of a letter that you might send to a prospective employer with your
resume. I suggest that you use the Letter Wizard. Use the spelling and grammar
checking capabilities of Word. No typing mistakes will be permitted in the letter.
3. A Microsoft PowerPoint slide set as an attachment. Incorporate the following
elements in your presentation. Be sure to identify where these elements can be
found in your slide set.
a. a title slide
b. a theme or background that binds your presentation together
c. specially styled text
d. a chart of some type
e. one item of clip art
f. one graphic image that you have created from scratch
g. one example of animation
h. one example of a transition effect
