Recommendations
Dear Sir/Madam,
1 Further to TSB Circular 225 and its Amendment 1 of 10 November 1999, I hereby inform you that 12 Member States participating in the last meeting of Study Group 8, approved the text of
11 draft revised and new ITU-T Recommendations during its Plenary session held on 10 February
2000. (see note)
2 Annex 1 gives you the titles and the locations of the approved texts of these revised or new
ITU-T Recommendations.

The texts of these Recommendations will be published by the ITU as soon as possible.

(Note: The United States took the 4-week period for consideration (under Resolution 1, § 8.5.5) of their position for approval of Annex E contained in T.38 Amendment 2, since this annex was dependant on the approval of draft Rec. H. 248 by SG16 at their February meeting.
Subsequently, SG16 did not approve H. 248 but rescheduled its approval at the next SG16 meeting of 15 June 2000. The United States then informed the TSB Director that if H. 248 is approved in June, the United States would not object to the approval of Annex E without any further need for formal action by SG8.)
