preparation to attend.

1. Select the M Connect wireless service as you would normally do using your wireless device.
2. Open your preferred internet browser (such as Safari, Firefox or Internet Explorer)
3. The M Connect log-in page will appear in your browser

Registration Desk
The Pathology Update 2016 Registration Desk is located on Level One of the Melbourne Convention Centre. Please note we do
not have a land line or mobile phone recharge facilities. Please come to the Registration Desk to collect your delegate bag and
name badge. Your Certificate of Attendance is included.

An exhibition portraying the history of the College will be on display throughout Pathology
Update 2016
The College and its stories... let your fingers walk through the years of the fascinating
timeline as you explore snippets of College history on an interactive screen. You can look
at everything on offer or refine your search to categories that interest you, anything from
outstanding individuals to education and training to governance to practising pathology.
The exhibition honours the 60th anniversary of the College and will run throughout
Pathology Update 2016. You can view it, together with a display of memorabilia opposite
the registration desk on Level 1 of the Melbourne Convention Centre. There will be people
on hand to answer questions and you are invited to contribute your thoughts about
pathology for a time capsule, to be opened on the 100th anniversary of the College in
2056. (Oh, and yes, the names of all Fellows current at April 2015 are included on the
back wall).

Car Parking
If you are driving to Melbourne Convention Centre, there are a number of car parks
available for use.
Melbourne Exhibition Centre Underground car park, South Wharf DFO car park and

Catering and Dietarty Requirements
The Pathology Update 2016 daily delegate catering is a healthy menu and catering
stations will be clearly marked with a variety of options.
Weather
Melbourne is known for having four seasons in one day. The Melbourne Convention
Centre is fully air-conditioned so we recommend you bring a light weight jacket when
attending scientific sessions.
