Using math in real life is easier said than done. However, in this talk, Dr. Chen claims that
you are more than ready to try something big. He will show the applications of math in real
industrial problems from local companies and regional mathematical modeling competitions.
He will also provide details of two applied math activities on campus the Mathematical
Modeling Club and the Machine Learning Study Group. Life is short, apply math.
