Chabot College Fall 2005 Removed Fall 2006 Course Outline for Mass Communications 501 RADIO/TELEVISION PRODUCTION Catalog Description: 501 – Radio/Television Production 0 Units Extended study of various aspects of radio or television production, including programming music, audio and video techniques, promotions, remotes, live sports, advertising/underwriting sales, department management and operation, directing, linear and digital editing, show preparation, scheduling, announcing, on-air shifts, computer applications, Public Service Announcements, news, and editorial, writing. Co-requisite: MCOM 32, 33A, 33B, 34, 38 or 39. Variable hours laboratory.
