tells a “story” to

employers. What
will your “story”
look like?
Pass/No Credit (P/NC)
- It is possible to take ONE course each trimester on a
P/NC basis
- If D- or better at end of tri, a grade of a “P” (PASS)
is given and credit is awarded (or the letter grade).
- If student completes all assignments and tests and
does not have a passing grade at end of tri, then a
“NC” (No Credit) is assigned. Student would have
to make up the class if it is required.
- Students have the first 20 days of the trimester to fill
out the form and get signatures.

Getting along
-RHS
has a harassment policy including cyber bullying
- Think about your own “digital footprint”.
-Try solving any problems first by talking respectfully to the
person you are having trouble with
-Report serious concerns to Mr. Jones, Dr. Conboy, Officer
Richtsmeier or your counselor.
Dealing with Stress
Stress is inevitable
-Grades, self esteem, relationship problems, family problems, fear of
future, health issues, money etc.
SOME STRESS CAN BE GOOD! BUT when it is too much…
Stress Relievers
-Exercise of all types
-Nutrition (especially protein)
-Deep breathing
-Music
-Journaling or Art
-Being outside in the sun or in nature
-Talking to a friend or family member
-Other hobbies or activities
Why get involved at RHS?
Busy students often get better grades!
Make new friends of different grade levels
Stress relief (remember previous slide?)
Feel more a part of RHS
Colleges and employers want students who are
involved in activities outside of school
(Prefer a high degree of participation in a few activities, rather
than enrollment in many activities with minimal participation)
