The write up: this is a formal lab write up, the final lab should be word processed and should
follow the FCHS lab write up criteria.
The following sections should be included in your final lab write up in this order:
Part 1
Title: copied from this procedure
Purpose: copied from this procedure
Materials: list format from this procedure
Hypothesis: (make a hypothesis about 1 of the 5 variables being observed)
Procedure: copy the procedure
Part 2
Data table: complete the data tables provided and paste them into your final lab write up
Observation journal: You will keep an observation journal for every observation day;
these entries will be checked periodically. Type the entries from your observation journal
into your final lab write up and staple your originals to the final copy.
Data analysis: complete the analysis questions. Show work. May handwrite.
