AP Degree Programme in Production Technology

The degree will equip you to think analytically and creatively, as you troubleshoot and
problem-solve. You will learn how to coordinate, organize and execute assignments in areas
of construction, product development and business production. You will also get an insight in
to material consumption and economics. The degree focuses on cooperation and aims to
strengthen your ability to communicate ideas.
Job functions
Production engineers work with organizing, construction and product development within
industrial companies. Furthermore with quality assurance, economy-and inventory
management or be responsible for a company’s international logistics. The degree also
qualifies you for jobs with managerial functions e.g. production manager, shop foreman,
innovator, chef of laboratory or project management.
Program structure
The degree lasts for two years and consists of compulsory subjects within the 1. and
2.semester, concluding with a test.
After the 2. semester you will have to choose if you want to specialize in either product
development or production- and process optimization, and completes at the closure of 3.
semester. In the end of 3. semester, you will present your specialized project in one of the two
directions.
You will internship during the 4.semester at approx. 9 weeks, following which you will have to
make a final exam project in cooperation with a company.

The programme duration is 2 years divided into 4 semesters. Each semester is equal to 30
ECTS.
